Driving Directions: Located within the Boulder River Wilderness, off of the Mountain Loop Highway between Arlington and Darrington. Drive east from Arlington along SR 530 for about 19 miles to French Creek Road # 2010, and proceed to the large parking area at the end of the road, 4 ½ miles from SR 530 (NOTE: This is a very holey 4.5 miles; high clearance vehicle is recommended along with some patience. In our minivan it took us a very long 30 minutes dodging all the holes… and we ended up with a flat tire the next morning.). Follow the easy trail for 1 ¼ miles to the falls, and a bench overlooking the scene. A steep path leads to the river at the base of the falls from the main trail.

This is a very family friendly trail; the hardest part is getting through the rough pot-hole forest road off highway 530.  After enjoying Feature Show Falls, head 1/3 mile downstream to see the less impressive Boulder Falls (often these two falls are confused).

If you’re up for a little more hiking, continue on the Boulder River Trail another 1.45 miles to view Meditation Falls.  These falls reside approximately 3 miles from the trailhead. If you end your trek here, your entire journey would be about 6 miles.
